Barbary Coast Reviews

The Barbary Coast Hotel & Casino was located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. With only 196 rooms, it was one of the smaller properties on the Strip and was one of the few establishments on the Strip to offer the feeling of the old wild west style Las Vegas.

The Barbary Coast was sold to Harrah’s in 2007 and renamed to Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall and Saloon.

This was the perfect hotel for “low rollers” meaning cheap drinks and a great central location with table minimums in the casino lower than elsewhere on the strip at the big high style hotel casinos.

The Barbary Coast was on Fodor’s Las Vegas “Also Recommended” list.
